Thane Hydraulic Mechanical Works

Our workshop is located right across from Oswal Park here in Thane. If you know the Bharat Sahakari Bank on Pokhran Road No. 2, then we are very easy to find. It’s a busy stretch of road. We deal with hydraulic parts and all sorts of mechanical repairs. The shop is usually full of grease and the smell of oil, which is just part of the job I guess. We have a few heavy machines and lathes in the back. Most days are spent fixing pumps or cylinders that people bring in from the nearby industrial areas. It’s not a quiet place by any means. There’s always the sound of metal clanking or a motor running. We’ve been in this spot for quite a while, and the neighborhood has changed a lot around us. The bank next door is always busy, so there’s a lot of foot traffic. We aren't a big company with suits; we are just guys in overalls trying to get the machines working again. Sometimes a job takes longer than we thought because a part is stuck, but we just keep at it until it's done. It’s hard work and your hands are never really clean, but it’s what we do. We don't have a fancy waiting room, just a couple of stools and the sound of the road outside. People just drop off their gear and we tell them when to come back. It’s simple, honest mechanical work without any fuss or complicated stuff. We keep the doors open most of the day for ventilation.
