Platinum Polymers Pvt. Ltd. is situated over in the MIDC area of Kulgaon, specifically in Mankivilli, Badlapur East. Being in an industrial zone means it's always noisy with trucks and other units nearby. Our unit is F-1/3. It's a solid building that has seen plenty of work over the years. Inside, we have our machines set up for the polymer work we do. The smell of raw materials is something you get used to pretty quickly. We have a small crew working shifts to keep things going. Sometimes the heat in the summer makes it a bit tough, but we have enough fans running to keep it manageable. The road out front is a bit bumpy, especially during the monsoon season when the puddles get deep and the mud gets everywhere. We spend a lot of time checking the output to make sure it's what was asked for. There isn't any fancy decor here. We have some old desks in the corner for the accounts and a lot of shelving for the finished goods. Most of our neighbors are also in manufacturing, so we all know each other. If there’s a problem with the electricity, we just wait it out or use the generator we have. It's just a regular factory life in Badlapur. We keep things simple and focus on the orders we have on hand. It's a lot of manual work and keeping an eye on the gauges.
