Planting Hands Foundation

Our foundation is called Planting Hands Foundation and we work out of Thane. Our office is B/210 in the Devtirth CHS. We are very close to Soham Garden in the Manpada area. It is a nice part of the city to be in because there is some greenery nearby. The zip code here is 400607. We aren't a big organization with a lot of hierarchy. It is just a few of us sharing a room in this housing society. We chose the name because it felt right for the kind of local work we wanted to do. Our office is basically just an apartment with some desks and a computer. We don't have a fancy lobby or any branding on the walls. Most of our neighbors in Devtirth know what we do and they often stop by to say hello. We spend our time planning things and talking to people from the community. It is a very hands-on way of working. We don't like using complicated language or making big promises. We just try to help out where we can. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy with the kids playing in the garden nearby, but we don't mind. It feels like we are part of the neighborhood. We have been in Manpada for several years now. It is a good place to be based. We just keep our heads down and do our work from B/210. It is simple, local, and honest.
