Pidilite Industries Ltd

Our small office is right here in Chirag Society on Manpada Road. If you know Dombivli East, you know how busy this area gets, especially in the evenings when everyone is coming back from the station. We’re on the third floor, room 302. It’s a tight space, but it works for what we need to do. Pidilite is what we handle, mostly coordinating between the warehouse and the local hardware stores around Gandhi Nagar. The lift in this building is a bit moody, so sometimes we just take the stairs if we’re in a rush. It’s noisy outside with the traffic and the rickshaws, but inside we just focus on the files and the phone calls. We’ve got a couple of computers that have seen better days. It isn’t a corporate showroom or anything like that. It’s just where the work happens. Sometimes we grab snacks from the stall downstairs during the break. The monsoon season is the hardest because the walls get damp, which is funny considering we sell stuff to fix that. We keep things simple here. No big meetings, just keeping track of who needs what and making sure the supplies don't sit around too long. Most of us live nearby, so the commute isn't too bad unless the trains are delayed. We just try to get through the day without too many hiccups or complaints from the shopkeepers. It's a lot of work but we manage it okay.
