We are way over in Nalasopara West, specifically at Flat No 2 in the Shreeprastha Society, Building No 23/A. It’s on 4th Road, and the easiest way to find us is to look for the HP Petrol Pump because we are right next to it. Being near a petrol pump means there is a constant smell of fuel and the sound of cars pulling in and out all day long. PGI Infra Ventures Pvt Ltd is situated in a typical residential building that’s been converted into a workspace. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs, and the hallway is usually dimly lit. Inside, the office is pretty cramped with desks squeezed together and shelves overflowing with project binders. Nalasopara is a busy suburb, and most of us spend a lot of time on the local trains, so the office is a place to finally sit down and get away from the commute. The walls are a pale color and have some scuffs from moving furniture around. We usually keep a big jar of biscuits on the table for whenever someone gets hungry in the afternoon. It’s not a high-tech corporate hub, just a place where we get our work done, deal with the local authorities, and keep track of our infrastructure projects. The windows look out over the street, which is always packed with rickshaws and people rushing to the market.
