Our place is at unit number 2 in the Sneha Industrial Estate. It is right across from the Old Syndicate Bank, which everyone uses as a landmark to find us. If you are coming down Goddev-Fathak Road in Bhayandar-East, you will see the Shiv-Sai Temple nearby. That is how we tell people to get here. At Padmavati Home Appliances, the floor is usually covered with parts and boxes. We have a lot of stuff moving in and out every morning. The road outside can get very muddy when it rains, and the traffic from the temple side makes things slow. Inside, it is a bit cramped because we have so many appliances sitting around. We use basic desks and old chairs. The fans stay on because it gets stuffy in the estate. We know most of the people working in the other units around here. Sometimes we share tools or help each other out with unloading. It is a practical space for practical work. We don't have a showroom with glass windows; it is more of a workspace where we fix and move things. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but we are usually too busy to bother with that. We just open up early and stay until the work is finished for the day. Sometimes we stay late when the shipments are big and need to be sorted.
