Padmas Optical Gallery & Contact Lens Clinic

We are tucked away in Shop No 4 of the Bansuri Building, right in the Thakur Complex area on Asha Nagar Road. You might have seen us if you are walking through the complex. Padmas Optical Gallery & Contact Lens Clinic is a small shop, but we have got a lot of frames crammed onto the shelves. Most days involve people coming in because they sat on their glasses or they have realized they cannot read the mail anymore. We spend a lot of time adjusting nose pads and tightening those tiny screws that always seem to go missing. We also do a lot with contact lenses, helping people figure out how to put them in without poking themselves in the eye, which takes some practice for most folks. The shop is not fancy, just a few display cases and the testing room in the back where it is dark. It gets a bit dusty on the road outside, so we are always wiping down the glass. We have been here long enough that we know most of the people who live in Asha Nagar. It is a nice little spot to work in. Sometimes people just stop by to get their frames straightened out for free, and that is fine. We like being the place where you can just drop in. Buying glasses should not be a big stressful thing, so we just keep it simple and help you find something that fits your face and lets you see better.
