We are based over at B-105, New Laxmi Park, right inside the Vijay Park area in Mira Road East. It’s a local spot in Thane-401 107 where the Otis Elevator Company (India|) Ltd. team works from. Most of the buildings around here are getting older or taller, so we spend a lot of time on site. We aren't some big faceless corporation when you talk to us; we’re just the people who make sure the lift in your building doesn't get stuck. The office is small and practical. We don't have time for fancy decorations because we’re usually busy answering the phone or grabbing some tools to head out. Working in Mira Road means we know the local streets and the common problems building owners have with their elevators. It’s greasy, heavy work sometimes, and it isn't always pretty. We just focus on getting the job done so people don't have to walk up ten flights of stairs. We use simple English and we don't try to impress anyone with big titles. If a lift needs a part, we find it. If it needs a check-up, we do it. It’s honest work that keeps us busy from morning until evening. Being part of the neighborhood here at Vijay Park is good because we can get to our clients fairly quickly. We just keep our heads down and keep the elevators running.
