Omkar Electronics

Our place, Omkar Electronics, is located in the Udyog Bhavan 2 building. It’s on Plot No. K-3 in the Additional Ambernath MIDC area. To get to us, you have to go to the A Wing and head up to the first floor to room F-7. It’s a bit of a walk through the corridors, but it’s a solid building. Ambernath East is a busy industrial zone, so there’s always something going on. Inside our unit, it’s mostly quiet except for the hum of some testing equipment. We handle a lot of small electronic parts, so the tables are usually covered in tiny components and soldering irons. We don't have a big staff, just a few people who know their way around a circuit board. The windows look out over the other industrial plots, and you can see the trains in the distance if you stand in the right spot. The address is quite long, which makes it a pain to write on envelopes, but we’ve been here long enough that the postman knows exactly where F-7 is. We keep a stash of biscuits in the drawer for when we’re working late. It’s not a high-tech lab with white coats; it’s just a workspace where we fix and check things as they come in. We try to keep the benches organized, though it never stays that way for long once we start a new project. We just keep our heads down and work.
