Om Sai Day Care Clinic

Our clinic is in Majiwada Village, right at the last bus stop in Thane West. It’s shop number three in the Abode Residency building. Since it's by the bus stop, there are always people hanging around outside, which makes it feel lively. We have a small space, mostly just a consultation room and a tiny area for people to wait. The chairs are a bit mismatched because we bought them at different times. It’s not the most modern-looking place, but we keep it tidy. The dust from the road is a constant battle, so we're always wiping down the surfaces. We see a lot of families from the village and the new buildings nearby. Most of our day is spent listening to people’s problems and writing out notes. We don't use much technology besides a basic computer for records. Sometimes the internet goes out and we have to do everything on paper, which isn't so bad. The afternoon sun hits the front window quite hard, so it gets a bit warm inside until the evening breeze kicks in. It’s a very local vibe here. We know the people who run the shops next door and often trade stories during lunch. It’s just a regular clinic doing what it can for the neighborhood people without any grand promises. We open up the shutters every morning and just wait for the first person.
