Finding us at Gala No. 3 can be a bit tricky if you don't know the area around Bhatpada in Virar East. We are situated near the Muttupa Mandir and right across from the road that goes to Ambe Mata Mandir. It’s tucked away behind the Govind Nagar bus stop on Chandansar Road. The morning commute here is always a bit of a rush, but once we get inside the gala, things settle down. We work mostly with heat cables and wires. It’s a lot of sitting and checking things manually, making sure everything is coiled properly. The shop isn't very large, so we have to keep everything organized on the shelves. Sometimes the buses outside are so loud we have to shout to hear each other, but you get used to it. The tea stall around the corner is where we usually take our breaks. It’s a busy neighborhood with a lot of people moving toward the temple or the bus stop. We’ve been in this spot for some time now and the locals know what we do. We don’t really do much advertising; people just walk in or call us. The floor is usually covered in small bits of wire and insulation by the end of the day. It’s just me and a couple of others here most of the time. We try to finish up before it gets too dark because the street lights aren't the best around here. It’s just a normal way to earn a living for us.
