Being on the Thane Bhiwandi Road means there is a lot of heavy traffic, especially trucks moving between the warehouses. It can get pretty dusty and loud outside the shop. Akshay Complex has a few different stores, and we are just one of them in the row. We keep the front of the clinic simple. There is a sign and the door, and inside we have the basic setup for seeing patients. It is not a very big space, so we have to be organized with where we put things. Most of the people who drop by are living in the nearby apartments or working in the local small businesses. We see a lot of the same faces every week. The Jain Mandir nearby brings in a lot of people on certain days, which makes the whole street feel different. We usually open up in the morning, sweep the front, and get the water ready for the day. It is a very local kind of place. We don't have any fancy decorations, just the stuff we need to help the people who come in. It gets busy in the evenings when everyone is returning home from work.
