N.R.C.Ltd., Mohone Kalyan, Thane.

N.R.C.Ltd. is based in Thane, specifically in the Shreerang Society in Thane West. We have a couple of units there, D-23 and CD-63. Working inside a residential society gives the office a very different feel. You see neighbors walking their dogs or kids playing while you are trying to finish a report. It’s a bit of a walk from the station, but it’s a nice enough area once you get here. The office itself is pretty cramped because we have so many files and old records from our time in Mohone Kalyan. We do a lot of our work on old wooden desks that have been with us for years. It’s a very Thane sort of vibe—busy but not as chaotic as central Mumbai. We have a routine of starting the day with a quick catch-up and then it's just a lot of typing and phone calls. The society has its own rules, so we try to keep the noise down and just go about our business quietly. We don’t have a big sign out front, just the unit numbers on the door. It’s a very grounded way to work. Most of us have been here a long time, so we don't need to explain things to each other much. We just show up at Shreerang Society and get to work on whatever the day brings us, handling the paperwork and the odd problems that pop up.
