New Star Glazing System ( India, Mumbai )

Our shop is tucked away in Room No. 1 at Nazia Apartment over in Tanwar Nagar. If you know the Kausa area in Mumbra, you’ve probably walked past us a few times. Dealing with glass is tricky because one wrong move and everything shatters into a million pieces. We’ve had our fair share of accidents over the years, mostly just small cuts on the hands. The space inside the apartment is a bit cramped with all the glass sheets leaning against the walls. We have to be very careful when we move things around so we don't hit the ceiling fan. Thane gets really humid, so the glass gets all foggy and we spend a lot of time just wiping it down. It’s a family-run thing, mostly. My cousin handles the deliveries while I stay back to handle the cutting. We use these old cutters that have been sharpened so many times they’re half their original size. People from all over Mumbai come to this part of Mumbra looking for work like this. We don’t have a big sign out front, just the name on the door. It’s a noisy neighborhood with kids playing outside and bikes zooming past the window all day. We start work early before the heat gets too bad. It’s just what we know how to do, and we’ve been doing it a long time now.
