Most days start with us opening up and checking the messages that came in overnight. Thane is growing so fast, it feels like there is a new crane on the horizon every single week. We talk to the local shopkeepers and the folks living in the older buildings to get a real sense of the market. Sometimes the rain here gets really heavy and we have to stay inside, which gives us time to catch up on all the filing. We aren't a big corporate team with suits and ties. We usually just wear something comfortable and drink a lot of chai while we work through the documents. People come by to ask about prices or just to see if any new flats have come up for rent. We don't have a scripted response for them. We just tell them what we know based on what we see every day. It's honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until evening.
