Nari Sashaktikaran Foundation

You can find our shop at Number 08 in Shanti Niwas. We are located right on the 100 Ft Bsestower Road in the Golden Nezt Phase XIII area. We are the Nari Sashaktikaran Foundation. We decided to set up in a shopfront because it makes it much easier for women in the neighborhood to just pop in when they are out doing their shopping. It is a small space, and it can get quite hot in the afternoons, but we have a couple of fans going. The office is pretty basic, just some desks and a lot of folders. We spend our time talking to the women who come in and helping them with whatever they need, whether it is learning a new skill or just getting some advice on a problem. We don't have a big corporate structure or any polished brochures to give out. Most of our news spreads by people talking to each other at the market or on the street. It is a bit of a chaotic environment sometimes, with kids running in and out and everyone talking at once, but we like it that way. We aren't looking for any big awards or anything. We just want to be a place where the women in Golden Nezt feel like they have some support. It’s just us doing what we can with the little we have. Usually, there is some tea on the table and plenty of chairs.
