Our office is in Audoot Appartment, right near the hotel at Kapurbawdi Naka. We operate out of Gala No. 2, but honestly, we spend more time out by the trucks than sitting at a desk. Namrataa Sand Supply Co. is exactly what it sounds like. We get sand from the sources and bring it to the builders who need it. The area around Kapurbawdi Naka is always jammed with traffic, so half our day is just checking where the drivers are and if they’ve hit a bottleneck. It’s a gritty business. There is sand in our shoes, sand in the carpets, and always a layer of it on the windows. We don't do fancy promotions. If you need a truckload of sand for a foundation, you call us, and we tell you when it can get there. Sometimes the rain messes up the pits and we can’t get the trucks out, and we just have to tell the customers the truth about the delay. We aren't corporate people with suits and ties. We’re usually in boots and rough shirts because that’s what the job requires. It’s a lot of shouting over the sound of engines and writing down numbers on scraps of paper. We’ve been at this spot for a while now, and we know all the local routes. It’s just the work we do, moving material from point A to point B without any extra fluff or fancy talk.
