Hummer Light

Hummer Light is over in Nalasopara West, at Shaw Blossom Building, No. A/7. We are right opposite the Sc Bus Depot, so there is never a quiet moment. You can hear the buses pulling in and the conductors shouting all day long. Our shop is filled with all kinds of lights and fixtures. Some are hanging from the ceiling and others are just sitting in their boxes on the floor because we ran out of shelf space. It’s a bit of a jumble, but we usually know where everything is. People from the neighborhood drop in quite a bit just to ask questions or look at the different bulbs. We don't have a fancy showroom with carpets or anything like that. It’s just a tiled floor and some bright lights that stay on until we close up for the night. The building itself is a bit older, and the entrance can be easy to miss if you aren't looking for the bus depot as a landmark. We spend a lot of time testing wires and making sure the displays are working. It gets pretty busy in the evenings when everyone is coming home from work and stopping by. We just try to help them find what they need without making a big deal out of it. It’s a simple business and we like it that way.
