Our place is at Plot No. 1, Shiv Parvati And D, right along the Mumbai Pune Road. Unix Lubricant Corporation is where we spend our days dealing with drums and cans of oil. It’s an industrial area, so there are always trucks rumbling past outside. The floor in the warehouse is always a little slick, no matter how much we sweep it. That’s just the nature of the business. We handle different types of lubricants for all sorts of machines. It’s not a clean job; our clothes usually have a few spots on them by the end of the shift. We’ve been at this location for years. The Mumbai Pune Road is a great spot because it’s easy for the delivery drivers to find us. We don't have a big sign or fancy lights. People who need what we have know where we are. Inside, it’s mostly shelves stacked high with product. We don't spend much on office furniture. Most of the space is for the inventory. It can get pretty hot in the summer, especially with the metal roof. We just keep the fans going and keep moving. It’s a straightforward operation. We get the orders, we load the trucks, and we move on to the next one. It’s hard work, but it’s what we know. There’s no corporate fluff here, just people moving barrels and checking invoices. The stacks go almost to the ceiling.
