We run our construction setup out of Damodar Apartment in Thane West. We are up on the sixth floor, in room 602. Most locals know where Ashok Cinema is, and we are located just behind that. It’s a busy part of Chendani Koliwada, especially with the Datta Mandir being so close by. You can hear the city sounds all day from up here. We started this business to handle local building projects around the area. It isn't a fancy office with glass walls or anything like that, just a regular apartment space where we keep our blueprints and site schedules. Sometimes the lift in the building is slow, so we end up taking the stairs which is good exercise. We spend a lot of our time out on-site, but this is where the planning happens. There’s always a pile of files on the desk and someone talking on the phone about cement orders or labor schedules. It gets a bit crowded when the whole team is in for a meeting. We’ve been in Thane for a good bit now and know the roads and shortcuts well. Being near the cinema makes it easy to give directions to people who haven't visited us before. We just focus on getting the structures built and managing the daily grind of the construction world. It's hard work, but it keeps us busy. We like being part of this neighborhood. It's a real place with real people working hard every day. We don't have a big sign, just our name on the door like everyone else.
