Our office is at 11/144 Daulat Nagar in the Kopri area of Thane East. Even though the name links us to Luanda, Angola, this is where we handle the India side of the import business. It’s a small, lived-in space in a residential building. We don’t have a big sign outside, so you have to look for the building number. It’s mostly just a few rooms with desks and computers. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or dealing with shipping documents and customs paperwork. Because we work with people in different time zones, the office hours can be a bit irregular. The neighborhood is pretty standard for Thane, with a lot of families and local shops around. We aren't a big corporate team. It’s just a handful of us who have been doing this for a while. We don't have a formal dress code or anything like that. We just come in and get the work done. Sometimes the office gets a bit crowded with files, but we manage. We know the local tea stall owner and the people at the stationery shop nearby. It’s a very local, practical environment. We don’t use any flashy language to describe what we do. We just move goods from one place to another and make sure the paperwork is right. It’s a steady job and we like being in this part of town.
