Morco Express

Dnyaneswar S. Gaikawad runs Morco Express. The office is at Post: Dwarali, on Shree Malang Road. This is out in Ambernath, part of the Thane district. Kalyan is the nearest big spot. It’s a bit of a trek to get out here sometimes. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything like that. It's mostly just us and the vehicles. The road can get pretty bumpy during the monsoon. Dnyaneswar is usually the one answering the phone or checking the logs. We move things for people in the area. It is hard work and the sun gets really hot in the afternoons. Sometimes the paperwork gets backed up and we have to spend the whole evening catching up. It’s not a big corporate setup. We are just a local operation trying to keep the deliveries moving on time. You see a lot of the same faces every day. We know the shortcuts around Ambernath pretty well by now. The office is small, just enough space for a desk and some files. We don’t spend much time sitting down anyway. Usually, someone is loading or unloading something. It gets noisy when the trucks are idling outside. We just keep our heads down and do what needs doing. It is just a regular business. We don't have any big slogans or anything. Just Morco Express and the daily grind out here in Dwarali.
