Modakk Overseas

Working out of Bay House in Eden Woods is a bit different from being in a crowded market. It’s located at 13-B, and it’s generally a bit more peaceful here, though the commute can be a bit of a trek depending on where you’re coming from. We started Modakk Overseas as a small operation, and it’s stayed pretty much that way. We don't have a giant staff or a flashy corporate headquarters. It’s just a few of us in a regular office space making sure things get handled. The desks are usually covered in papers, and there’s always a half-empty coffee mug somewhere near the computer. We spend a lot of time emailing people in different time zones, so sometimes the hours get a little weird. If you walk into the office, you might find us sitting in silence just typing away, or we might be having a loud argument about a shipping delay. It’s an honest way to make a living. We chose this location because it’s a bit out of the main chaos, which helps us focus when things get busy. There isn't a lot of foot traffic here, so we don't get many walk-ins. Mostly, we just deal with people we’ve known for a long time. It feels like a small family business because that’s basically what it is. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
