Mlp Textiles Private Limited is based out of the B-Wing of Pranita Complex in the Kombadpada area of Bhiwandi. If you know this part of Thane, you are probably aware of how busy the streets can get with all the trucks moving around. Our office is actually Flat Number 106 on the first floor, which means space is a bit tight when we have fabric samples lying around. The building is a typical mix of residential and business units, a common sight in this neighborhood. Most of the day is spent coordinating between weavers and buyers, usually while sitting at a small wooden desk in the front room. Traffic noise from outside is constant, but after a few weeks, you stop even noticing it. For breaks, we usually head down to the small tea stall located right at the corner. There is no big corporate setup here, just a handful of people trying to keep the orders moving along. Whenever the electricity goes out, we just take a breather and wait for it to come back on. Checking the fabric rolls as they arrive and sorting the paperwork for the next delivery takes up most of our time. It is a lot of back and forth, but it is honest work that keeps us going. Most of the people who drop by are regulars who have been doing business in Bhiwandi for years.
