Mkc Design Private Limited is situated in Kalher Village, which is part of the Bhiwandi area in Thane. Our specific address is 1480/3 Gala 3 in the Manav Complex. If you know this part of town, you know it is mostly warehouses and small factories. It is a very industrial setting with a lot of dust and the sound of machinery. Our gala is a practical space where we get our design work done. It is not the kind of place you would come to see a showroom. We have concrete floors and high ceilings. There are usually pieces of material and sketches lying around on the workbenches. We have been here for a bit now and have gotten used to the rhythm of the complex. The trucks start moving early in the morning, and the noise doesn't really stop until late. It is a hardworking neighborhood. We don't have fancy office furniture or air conditioning in every corner. We just have what we need to get the designs right. The people around here are mostly laborers and small business owners like us. We eat at the local dhabas when we are too busy to bring food. It is a bit rough around the edges, but it is a real place where things actually get made. We don't mind the grit of Bhiwandi because it keeps us focused on the tasks we have.
