A 1 Ladies Tailor

A 1 Ladies Tailor is a small shop located at Shop No. 8 in the Sterling Mention building. We are right behind the HDFC Bank in the Naya Nagar area of Mira Road. It is a very busy neighborhood and there is always something going on outside our door. Inside the shop, things are usually a bit messy with fabric scraps and different colored threads everywhere. We have our sewing machines set up where the light is best. It is not a big corporate fashion house. It is just a local tailor shop where we do our work. We spend most of the day measuring and cutting and sewing. Sometimes the shop gets a bit crowded when a few people come in at the same time to check on their clothes. We have a small mirror on the wall and a little space for people to try things on. We don't have a big marketing plan or a fancy website. Most people just know us because they walk past Sterling Mention or they live nearby in Mira Road. We start our work early and sometimes we are still at the machines late into the evening if we have a lot of orders to finish. It is a simple business and we like it that way. We just try to do a good job with the fabric and keep things moving. Being behind the HDFC bank makes it easy for people to find us. We just sit here and stitch all day.
