Mideast Pipeline Products is located at Flat 6 on the third floor of the F-6 building in CBD Belapur, Sector 5. We’ve been in this Navi Mumbai spot for quite a few years now. The office is pretty basic, with a few desks and a lot of folders stacked up on the shelves. Being near Konkan Bhavan means there’s always a lot of government traffic and people moving around outside. We focus on parts for pipelines, like valves and different types of joints. It isn't a glamorous job, but it’s what we know how to do. Most of our day is spent on the phone talking to suppliers or checking where a shipment has gotten to. Sometimes the lift in the building acts up, so we end up taking the stairs, which is a bit of a workout. The view from the window is just more buildings and the busy street below. We don't have a big marketing department or a fancy lobby for guests. It’s just a small crew of us trying to keep things organized and making sure orders get out when they should. Navi Mumbai gets very humid, so the fans are always spinning in here. We try to keep a steady pace and not get too stressed when things get hectic. It’s a straightforward business and we like it that way. We aren't trying to change the world, just doing our part in the industry. Every morning is another day at the desk.
