Midas International

Midas International is based out of Vastu B-702 on Ghodbandar Road. It is a typical residential-commercial mix building. The commute here can be a nightmare because the traffic on this road never seems to stop. We spend a lot of time looking out the window at the cars crawling along while we handle our emails. The office is not very large, just enough space for a few of us to sit and get the work done. We have a small pantry where the kettle is always on. We do not have a big HR department or a PR firm writing our stuff. We just handle the international side of things from this apartment-turned-office. It is quiet inside compared to the noise outside. We mostly deal with vendors over the phone and sometimes they come over for a quick meeting. We do not offer fancy snacks, just some biscuits and tea. The shelves are packed with files that probably need sorting, but we know where everything is. It feels more like a home than a corporate headquarters. We wear casual clothes and talk about the cricket scores while we work. It is a small operation but we keep things moving. We do not have a mission statement on the wall, just a calendar and some notes taped to the monitors. It is just a regular office where we try to stay organized and finish our tasks.
