Mensane Exports Llp is located at Shop No 1 in Rahul Estate, over in Ambernath East. It’s a straightforward little place right on the ground floor, which makes it easy to get in and out of. We don't have to worry about elevators or long flights of stairs here. The neighborhood in Ambernath has a different pace compared to the center of Mumbai; it feels a bit more relaxed but still quite active. Our shop is where we handle all our daily operations. It’s not a huge space, but we have enough room for our files and the few of us who work here. You can see the people from the estate walking by all day long. It gets a bit dusty being so close to the road, so we are always wiping down the desks or cleaning the front window. A regular routine keeps us busy from opening up in the morning until we get through the paperwork. This practical setup works since we like being on the street level where we can see what’s going on. Local shops around us are run by people we’ve known for a while now. Lunch usually comes from one of the small eateries nearby or someone brings a tiffin from home. Living an honest, local business life is what we do here. No fancy decorations or big signs are needed, just the name on the door and our work to focus on. This quiet corner of the estate suits us just fine and we like it that way.
