Material Inspection Laboratory,Mumbai

Our lab is based in Kalyan West, specifically in the Chicken Ghar area of Mumbai. We are over in Saidham Apartment, which is quite close to Damaji Niwas and just behind the Holy Cross School. Mr. K.C. Shrivastava runs the show here. It is a regular apartment building, which gives the whole operation a very local and neighborly feel. We do all our material inspections right here in the 4B unit. Living and working in Mumbai means things are always moving at a fast pace, even out here in Kalyan. We look at all sorts of samples that people bring in to make sure their construction stuff is up to the mark. It is a small team and we do not have any of those giant corporate lab setups. We just have our tools and our recording books spread out across the rooms. The neighborhood is mostly full of families and kids going to the school nearby. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy when the school lets out, but we just stay focused on our inspection reports. We have been part of this local community for a long time. We do not really do any big advertisements or marketing. Most people find us because they live nearby or heard about our work from a friend. We take the job seriously but the atmosphere in the office is relaxed and honest.
