Master Stitch Private Limited

Master Stitch Private Limited is at 12, Mahajan Chawl, located in the Gograswadi area on Patharli Road. We are in Dombivali East. Being in a chawl means we are very much part of the local neighborhood. You can hear the sounds of families and the street right outside our doors. Our work is all about stitching and garments. The room is filled with the sound of sewing machines from morning till night. We have rows of workstations where the magic happens. It’s not a fancy factory by any means. We have bundles of thread and piles of cut fabric everywhere you look. The space is tight, but we make it work. Lighting is important for the stitching, so we have some strong bulbs over every machine. The atmosphere is very informal; we all know each other well and talk while we work. Patharli Road is a busy spot in Dombivali, so there is always someone passing by the window. Sometimes we have to move our finished goods out quickly to make room for the next batch. It’s a very manual process and we take it one piece at a time. The chawl life has a certain rhythm to it that we have grown used to over the years. We are just a local stitching unit doing our best with what we have here.
