The Iconic Interior

We are located at Shop No. 3 inside the Rai Master Compound. If you know the Manpada Service Road, you know it can get a bit confusing with all the turn-offs, but we are right there in the Rai Master Compound area. The Iconic Interior is what we call ourselves, though mostly we just think of it as the workshop where all the wood and fabric ends up. It’s not a quiet place. There is always the sound of a saw or someone hammering something together. We have been in this spot for a while now, and the walls are covered in sketches and old measurements that we probably should have thrown away years ago. It’s a bit cramped when we have a lot of materials delivered, especially when the big trucks try to pull off the service road. We do a lot of the work right here on the floor. It’s messy, and there is sawdust everywhere, even in our hair sometimes. We don’t really do fancy brochures. Most people just find us because they live nearby in Manpada or saw us while driving past. It’s just a regular shop run by regular people who like making things look decent inside a house. We open up early and stay until the work is done for the day. It’s a simple way to make a living, and we’re happy to be here in this part of town.
