If you go to Shanti Nagar in Mira Road East, right opposite the Sai Krupa Hotel, you’ll find us. Mangal Packers Movers is in Shop No. 5 of Building 64. It’s a small office because most of our work happens in the back of a truck or in someone’s living room. We spend our days wrapping things in bubble wrap and lugging heavy boxes down stairs. It’s back-breaking work sometimes, especially in the humidity. We’ve been in Sector 1 for a while now. The guys who work here are mostly locals. We start early because the traffic on Mira Road gets bad fast. We have a couple of trucks that we try to keep in good shape. People come in looking stressed because moving house is a nightmare for most. We try to just get the job done without too much fuss. Sometimes things get delayed because of the rain or a broken lift, and we just have to deal with it. We don't have a big sales team; usually, it’s just one of us answering the phone while trying to coordinate a crew. The shop is mostly for storing packing materials and meeting customers. We’ve seen a lot of people move in and out of this neighborhood over the years. It’s a busy life, always on the move, literally. It's not always easy but we keep at it every day, making sure the trucks are loaded right and things stay in one piece.
