Mamta Clinic

Mamta Clinic is tucked away in Shop No.07 inside the Wafa Compound. If you know the Kalyan Bhiwandi Road, you know how much traffic there is all the time. We are right there in New Kongaon, not far from the Taqwa Masjid. It is a small space, nothing too big or flashy. Most of our days are spent sitting in the shop area waiting for people from the neighborhood to stop by with their health issues. The area around Bhiwandi is always dusty and loud because of the trucks, but inside the clinic, we try to keep things quiet. We have been in this spot for a bit now. People usually tell others to look for the mosque to find us. It is a local landmark that everyone knows. We do not have a big team, just a few of us making sure everything is clean and ready for the next person. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, which is just part of living in this part of Thane. We keep some basic medicines and do regular checkups. It is just a simple clinic for the people living in the compound and the nearby streets. Nothing more, nothing less. We see a lot of kids and elderly people especially during the monsoon season when everyone gets a cough. We just do our bit here every day from morning until late evening.
