Mahavir Dry Fruits & Confectioners

We are over in Kandivali East at Shop No 6. It’s a small place, but we pack a lot of things into the space we have. You’ll see big jars of dry fruits and various sweets lined up on the counters. We spend a lot of time sorting through the nuts and making sure the displays look decent for the customers who walk in. People usually come in looking for something specific for a snack or maybe a gift for someone. We try to keep the atmosphere relaxed. It smells pretty good in here with all the different snacks around. Being in Kandivali, we see a lot of the same faces every week. We don’t use any big words to describe what we do. We just sell dry fruits and some sweets that people like. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded during the festival seasons, and we have to work a lot faster to keep up with the demand. The shop doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles. It’s just a counter, some shelves, and us. We open the shutters in the morning and wait for the first customer to walk in. It’s a nice way to spend the day, talking to neighbors and making sure they get what they need. We’ve been at Shop No 6 for a good while now and plan to stay for as long as we can. It's just a local shop doing its daily business for the people around here.
