Mahaveer Scrapes

We are located in Thane West, right near the Hari Nivas Circle at Office No. 1. If you are looking for us, you’ll probably see the stacks of materials before you see the actual office sign. Dealing with scrap is a messy business, and there is always something being weighed or moved around on the lot. Our yard is usually busy with people dropping things off or trucks coming to pick up loads for recycling. We spend a lot of time outside, regardless of whether it is sunny or raining. The office itself is just a small room where we keep the scales and the ledgers. It gets a bit dusty with all the metal and paper moving about. We’ve been at this location for a while, so we know most of the people who come by regularly with their scrap. Thane West is always moving, and we are just one small part of that daily cycle. We don't use any fancy technology here, just the basic tools and our own hands. It’s a lot of physical work, sorting through bits of iron, copper, and whatever else comes in during the week. We start early and usually finish up once it gets too dark to see the piles properly. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. We don't worry much about how the place looks as long as the work gets done and the trucks are loaded.
