Maharashtra Power Transmission Structure

This place is right opposite Shivanandas Mandir in Deepak Nagar. If you are walking down from the station side in Ambernath West, you will see the house number 2109. It is a local setup here. We work on the big steel structures used for power lines. It is heavy work and there is usually a lot of noise when things are moving. The area is quite busy because of the temple nearby. Lots of people walking past all day. We have been at this address for a good bit of time. The office is not very big but it fits what we need. We spend most of our time looking at drawings or talking to the guys on the site. Sometimes the rain in Ambernath makes things difficult. The roads get muddy and everything slows down. We keep a few chairs for visitors but mostly it is just us drinking tea and getting through the logs. There is always something to fix or a part that needs tracking down. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy out front. Most people find us by word of mouth or by asking the shopkeepers nearby. It is a straightforward job. We get the structures ready and make sure they go where they are supposed to. It is just a normal day of work for us here near the mandir. We stay busy enough and try to get home before the evening trains get too crowded.
