Maatujay Salaam Foundation

We've been at Yashraj Park in Shop 01 for a while now. If you know Kasarvadavali on G.B. Road, you probably know where the building is. It's a busy spot in Thane. We aren't doing anything fancy or big, just keeping things running from this little office. The Maatujay Salaam Foundation started because there was a space for us here. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded in the shop when a few of us are working, but we make it work. Most days are just spent sorting through paperwork or talking to people who drop by. It's not a corporate office with glass walls or anything like that. We have some old chairs and a desk that’s seen better days. G.B. Road always has traffic, so it’s noisy outside, but inside we just focus on what needs doing. We didn't hire a writer for this. It's just us telling you where we are. This foundation is basically just a group of local people trying to be useful. We don't have a big staff. Sometimes the power goes out or the internet is slow, but that's just how it is in this part of Thane. We keep our files in cabinets and try to stay organized. People come in asking questions or just to see what we do. We don't have all the answers, but we listen. If you're near Yashraj Park, you can see the sign for Shop 01. It’s pretty simple.
