Maa Vardaini Impex Private Limited operates out of Flat 204 in the Areva Building. We are situated on Plot-86 in Sector 18 of Ulwe, which is a part of Navi Mumbai that is still finding its feet in some ways. There is always some construction happening nearby, so you might hear a drill or a hammer while we are trying to work. Our office is a simple flat that we converted into a workspace. It has enough room for our desks and a small corner where we keep the kettle for making tea in the afternoon. We spend a lot of time looking at spreadsheets and making sure the inventory lists are correct. It’s not a very fancy building, but it’s solid and gets the job done for us. Outside the window, you can see the other plots being developed, and the roads get a bit muddy when it rains. We usually arrive early to beat the worst of the heat and stay until the sun starts to go down. Most of our day is spent typing away or talking to people on the mobile. We don't have a big sign or anything, just our name on the door of unit 204. It’s a quiet life compared to the main city, and we prefer it that way. We just keep our heads down, do the work, and make sure everything is sorted before we head home for the night.
