Lokhande Social Foundation

We are based over in Badlapur, specifically in the Harshal Ayudhya Apartment. We're in A Wing, Block Number 4. It’s a quiet enough spot most of the time. Lokhande Social Foundation is basically our family and a few friends trying to do some good. Badlapur has grown a lot lately, and there’s always a need for a helping hand somewhere. We don't have a big fancy office with glass walls. It’s just a regular apartment room where we keep our files and meet people. We spend a lot of time on the ground, visiting different parts of Thane to see what’s needed. We don't really believe in those big corporate ways of doing things. It feels too cold. We prefer to sit down and have a real conversation with people. Sometimes the work is tiring and there’s a lot of paperwork that never seems to end. But we just keep at it. We handle a variety of social tasks, nothing is too small for us to look at. We aren't trying to be famous or anything. We just want to be useful. If someone in Belawali needs help, they know where to find us. We’ve lived here a long time, so we know the local issues pretty well. It’s just about being a good neighbor, really. That’s the heart of what we do every day and why we stay.
