Life Helpoint Foundation

You can find us in the village of Daulatabad, near Thane More. We are based out of the home of Jamiul Hasanujjaman. It’s a quiet spot, away from the big city rush of places like Mumbai. We decided to start Life Helpoint Foundation because we saw a lot of people in our village struggling with basic things. It isn't an official-looking corporate building. It is a residence where we have set aside space to handle foundation matters. Most people just walk over when they need something. We don't have set office hours like a bank. If we are there and the door is open, we are available. It’s a very local way of doing things. We spend a lot of time just talking to neighbors and hearing about their problems. We try to help where we can, whether it's with paperwork or finding resources. The road outside can get quite muddy when it rains, so people often leave their shoes at the entrance. We have a few wooden chairs and a table where we sit. It’s simple and practical. We don't have fancy brochures. We just explain what we do to whoever asks. It’s about being a point of help for our community in Daulatabad. We’ve lived here our whole lives, so we know the people and the issues they face. We just try to be useful every day without making a big fuss about it.
