Lanka Craft And Fabrication

Our place is at Galan No 3 in the Nirmal Ashis Industries. We are right opposite the Pariwar Garden Hotel in Asangoan West. It’s a bit of a trek out here in Taluka Sahapur, but it’s a good spot for fabrication. Being in Thane district, we get people coming from all over the nearby towns. The workshop is part of a larger industrial building, so there are always other people working nearby. We have a mix of craft and heavy fabrication going on. Sometimes we are doing delicate work and other times it’s heavy steel beams. The hotel across the road is a good landmark for people who haven't been here before. We spend our days mostly in the workshop, dealing with the heat and the sparks. It’s a practical life. We don't have a fancy showroom. Everything we make is custom and goes out the door as soon as it’s done. Sahapur is a bit quieter than the city, which we like. The air is a little clearer, even with the factory work. We just focus on the task at hand. If a customer comes in, we sit down on whatever is available and talk through the dimensions. It’s a very hands-on process. We’ve been at Nirmal Ashis for some time now and we know the local suppliers well. It’s just us, our tools, and the metal we work with every day. We stay at it until it's right, making sure the cuts are clean.
