Kothari Process Machineries

We are over at Plot No 77/6, specifically Unit No 14 inside the Gandhi Ind. Estate. It’s tucked away near the Laxmi Ind. Estate in the Waliv Phata area of Vasai East. Finding us can be a bit of a challenge the first time because the industrial estates here are all clustered together and the signs aren't always the best. Sativali Road is usually packed with vehicles, so we’ve learned to be patient with the traffic. We work on process machineries, so our unit is full of metal, tools, and the smell of oil and grease. It’s a real workshop. We don’t have a showroom with bright lights. Most of our work is done on the bench or at the machines themselves. The floor is concrete and has some stains from years of hard work, but that’s how we like it. We’re a small team of mechanics and technicians. We don't have titles like manager or supervisor that we use much; everyone just knows what they need to do. During the monsoon, the rain can be really loud on the roof, making it hard to hear each other, but we manage. We share tea with the guys from the unit next door and talk about the neighborhood. It’s a simple life of making and fixing things. We don’t have a big website or anyone to do sales. We just do the work and try to keep our machines running for the long haul.
