Singhaniya International

Singhaniya International is based out of 27 Ekar Kothari Compound. Even though the name sounds a bit grand, we are a pretty down-to-earth operation. Our space is essentially a large warehouse with a small corner carved out for some desks and a phone. The Kothari Compound is a massive place with all kinds of businesses, so there’s a constant stream of trucks and people moving about. We deal with international trade, which really just means we spend a lot of time checking boxes, looking at shipping manifests, and making sure everything is where it should be. It’s often quite messy, with pallets stacked high and packing material everywhere. We don’t have a fancy office with carpets or nice furniture. Our chairs are old, and the desks are scratched up from years of use. There’s a small group of us here, and we usually have our lunch together while talking about the latest delays at the port or just complaining about the heat. The compound can be a bit overwhelming with the noise and the dust, but we’ve grown used to it over the years. We don’t go in for big marketing campaigns or anything polished. We just handle our business as it comes in and try to stay organized enough to not lose anything. It’s a practical, busy way to make a living, and it keeps us on our toes every single day.
