Kohom Auto Pvt.Ltd. is situated at 12 Prem Plastic Compd., right behind the Icem Co. building. It’s a bit of a hidden spot if you don't know the compound well, but we’ve been here long enough that the regulars find us easily. The space is a mix of an assembly area and a storage spot for auto parts. We don't have a lot of extra room, so we have to be very careful about where we stack things. The floors are concrete and have seen better days, but they serve their purpose. We have a small team that handles the daily operations, from inventory to packing. It’s a typical industrial unit where the focus is on utility. You won't find any modern art or fancy carpets here. Instead, there are racks of components and a few sturdy worktables. The ventilation could be better, especially in the summer, but we make do with what we have. Most of our business comes from long-standing relationships with other firms in the sector. We spend a lot of time on the phone coordinating with suppliers and making sure things arrive on time. It is a simple, no-nonsense way of running a business. We show up, do what needs to be done, and head home. There’s always something to fix or organize, so the days usually go by pretty fast for everyone here. We aren't doing anything fancy, just moving parts and getting things ready for shipment.
