You can find Kamlesh Polymers Pvt. Ltd. out at Plot No. 115 in the Deewan Industrial Estate. We are right behind the Welspun plant in Palghar West. Being in an industrial estate means there is always a lot of activity, with forklifts and delivery vans zooming around. Our place is usually filled with the smell of raw plastic and the sound of the molding machines. It is a big shed, really, with high ceilings to try and keep it cool, but Palghar gets very humid. We have stacks of polymer bags everywhere and finished goods waiting to be shipped out. The road leading to the estate can be a bit rough, especially after the monsoons. Most of the workers live nearby and walk or cycle in. We have a small cabin for the accounts and the computer, but most of the action happens on the floor. It is dusty and noisy, but that is just how an industrial job is. We do not have any fancy landscaping or a lobby. Just a gate and the production area. Everyone knows each other here. We take our breaks under the shade of the trees outside the gate when the sun is too much. It is a straightforward operation. We focus on the production schedules and making sure the machines do not break down in the middle of a shift. There is always a lot to do before the weekend rolls around.
