Kamla Eye Clinic

Kamla Eye Clinic is located at Shop 6 in the Narendra CHS. We are right on S V Road in Jogeshwari West. S V Road is one of those main roads that is always packed with rickshaws and buses, so there is never a quiet moment during the day. Our shop is part of a housing society, which makes it feel a bit more like a local neighborhood spot. We have a small sign out front so people can find us in the 400102 area. The space inside is small but it has everything we need to check people’s eyes properly. We spend a lot of time talking to the neighbors and the people who live in the building. It’s a very practical setup. We don't have any big fancy decorations or a reception desk that looks like a hotel. It’s just a clinic. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit and we have to wait for the backup, but that’s just how things go. We keep a stack of old magazines for people to look at while they wait their turn. Most days are pretty much the same. We open the shutters in the morning, dust off the chairs, and get ready for whoever walks in. It’s a simple way to earn a living. The tea guy comes by twice a day and that is usually the highlight of the afternoon when things get a little slow and we need a break.
