KALPAVARDHA EXIM LLP

Our place is over in Ambarnath, specifically in S-8 of the Aryakrishna Apartment in Sambhaj Nager. It’s a bit of a trek from the main part of Mumbai, but we like it here in the Thane district. We do export and import work from this small office. It’s basically just a room with some desks, a couple of computers, and a very busy printer. The walls are a bit plain and we have some old calendars hanging up. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or typing out emails to people in different time zones. It is not a glamorous job, just a lot of checking numbers and making sure the customs forms are filled out correctly. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, which is just how things go here. We know the neighbors in the apartment building and sometimes they stop by to chat. The local train station isn't too far, so we hear the trains once in a while. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just take the orders as they come and try to stay organized. It is a small team and we all do a bit of everything, from answering the phone to carrying boxes if needed. It’s a quiet but steady way to work and earn our living every single day.
