It’s a busy road, and being in Nanuram Mansion means we get a lot of people walking by on their way to other places. I spend most of my time behind the counter here. We have the homeopathic side and then the general store side, so it’s a bit of a mix of things. People come in for all sorts of reasons. Some need their medicine and some just want a bar of soap or some biscuits. It keeps things interesting because you never know who is going to walk in next. Dr. Ambedkar Road is a main part of Kalyan City, so there’s always something happening outside the door. The shop isn't very large, but we’ve been in this spot for a while now. I try to keep everything in its place, but with two different types of goods, it gets a bit crowded sometimes. Nanuram Mansion is an older building, which gives the shop a bit of character, I think. We don't do any fancy advertising or anything like that. People just know we are here at Shop No 10 and they come in when they need something. It's a steady life and I like being part of the Kalyan community.
