We are located in Kalyan East, right in the Santosh Nagar area. It’s a busy part of the outskirts of Mumbai. Our Jsw Steel Ltd office is actually in Room No. 6 of the Van Vishwashanti Cooperative Housing Society. It's a very humble setup, just a small room in a residential society where we handle the business side of things. Kalyan is always crowded and the trains are always running, so there’s a lot of energy around us all the time. We spend our days dealing with the paperwork for steel orders and talking to clients on the phone. Because it's a small space, we have to stay very organized or everything would get messy fast. It’s not a corporate office with a lobby or any of that. It’s just where we work. We know all the neighbors in the society and they see us coming and going with our files and logs. It’s a very local way to run things. We focus on the practical tasks and make sure we don't miss any deadlines. The traffic in Kalyan can be a total nightmare, so we try to do as much as we can from the room without having to travel too much. It’s a bit cramped sometimes, but we’ve got everything we need to keep the business moving. We’ve been here for quite some time now and it feels like home while we work on the steel trade.
